The University of the West Indies (UWI) has warned the public about a fake website falsely claiming to be affiliated with the institution.
The fraudulent site reportedly collects personal information, including names, email addresses, and telephone numbers, without UWI's authorisation.
The university has urged anyone who used the site to avoid sharing further personal or financial information and to verify all communications through official UWI channels.
UWI has reported the matter to cyber and law enforcement authorities and is taking legal and technical steps to have the website removed.
