Lecturers at the University of Technology UTECH, remain off the job as they seek to get the university’s management to pay retroactive monies.
Last Friday the lecturers went on strike over the none-receipt of the second tranche of payments arising from a salary adjustment for the 2015/2017 wage contract.
Based on the schedule, the first payout was made in July.
The second which was expected in September, has not been made.
