Entertainers, media personalities & Influencers gathered to raise funds for victims of Hurricane Melissa during the I love Jamaica Telethon last evening.
With corporate support from Red Stripe & Digicel, the fundraising initiative is aimed at supporting the nation’s recovery efforts, following the devastation caused by Category Five storm.
While speaking with the Zee, Jamaican track legend Usain Bolt underscores the importance of the initiative, having seen the damage caused by Melissa, especially in Trelawny where he was born and raised.
Meantime, Head of Commerce At Red Stripe, Sean Wallace has committed to the cause with immediate relief and also pledged millions in donation at the telethon last evening.
