US forces carried out a seventh consecutive night of strikes on Iranian military targets after President Donald Trump declared the temporary ceasefire "over," while Iran responded with attacks on US allies including Kuwait.
The renewed fighting has killed two US service members, damaged infrastructure in Kuwait, and prompted missile interceptions by Jordan and Bahrain.
The ceasefire agreed in mid-June collapsed after stalled peace talks, with both sides accusing each other of violating the agreement.
Regional leaders condemned Iran's attacks on civilian infrastructure, while Tehran said it suspended its commitments only after what it described as US aggression.
