Ziggy Marley’s URGE Foundation recently partnered with Healthcare International to host a free dental clinic at Chepstowe Basic School in Portland.
According to a social media post from the foundation, approximately 200 students and community members in Portland Parish were examined and treated during the clinic. An additional 350 individuals from areas outside the parish also received care through the foundation’s mobile dental unit.
Active since 1992, the URGE Foundation supports children and families through education, health, and community development initiatives, with a strong presence in Jamaica, Africa, and North America.
