Two people are currently in police custody after authorities seized over 50 million dollars, four luxury vehicles, and two firearms from a property in St. Catherine yesterday.
U.S. and British currencies were also confiscated.
According to reports, between 5:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., members of the Counter-Terrorism and Organized Crime Investigations Branch (CTOC) conducted an intelligence-driven operation at 22D St. Vincent Boulevard.
The operation led to the seizure of the cash, vehicles, and firearms, and the arrest of two residents on the premises.
Senior Superintendent Anthony McLaughlin, head of CTOC, stated that the suspects had been under police surveillance for some time.
