It's official!
Freedom Street Europe has announced 'two nights of gully vs. Gaza featuring dancehall titans, Vybz Kartel and Mavado live.
Organisers have been teasing the event online, writing: “Freedom Street Europe 2026 18 years in the making… The clash that defined a generation”, sparking reactions from fans worldwide.
The official details were shared today and fans will get to see the two dancehall stars whose feud shaped an entire generation of fans, will be sharing the same stage together in Malta, September 10-13.
A full line up will be announced soon.
Reacting to the announcement, American super producer DJ Khaled, who share friendship with both artists, congratulated them for their inspiration, adding: " It's time for More History".
The legendary rivalry between Jamaican dancehall legends Vybz Kartel and Mavado, famously known as the Gaza vs Gully feud, stands as one of the most explosive eras in dancehall history.
