Twitter launched a pilot version of an in-app shopping module in June, and now users will be able to shop while watching a livestream.
The feature is known as Live Shopping, and it allows you to check out and buy items while watching a livestream. It lets you switch between the shopping tab and the livestream, and you can watch the stream even while making a purchase on the third-party merchant’s website.
The first Live Shopping stream will go live on November 28 at 7 p.m. Eastern Time, starring Jason Derulo, who will host a 30-minute show featuring a variety of products that users will be able to purchase right then and there.
