Allison Holker, wife of the late Stephen “tWitch” Boss, is facing backlash after sharing personal details about “tWitch” in her memoir, “This Far: My Story of Love, Loss, and Embracing the Light”.
In a sit-down interview with People Magazine that aired yesterday (January 7), the 36-year-old dancer spoke about her book, Boss’ personal struggles and moments, including alleged drug addiction and childhood trauma that led up to her discovering her husband committed suicide in 2022.
Critics, which included the late DJ and dancer’s family and friends, accused Holker of being insensitive and opportunistic for revealing private matters.
Boss’ family took to social media to air their grievances, claiming that Holker made them sign NDAs before attending the funeral and kept prohibiting family members from visiting Boss’ side of the family.
Holker responded to the criticism by emphasising her goal of encouraging open conversations about mental health while sharing insights from Boss’s journals that helped her understand his pain and struggles.
No drugs were found in the late dancer’s system at the time of his death.
