Operators of senior care homes are being warned that they face a one million dollar fine for non compliance with the coronavirus protocols.
The warning was issued yesterday (Tues) by Health Minister Dr. Christopher Tufton, while giving the lower house an update on the COVID 19 situation at homes.
It comes in the wake of reports of at least three COVID-19 related deaths at state run facilities.
Dr. Tufton noted that the facilities have been provided with specific protocols that they should adhere to by the end of this month.
