The Tropical Storm Warning has been discontinued for Jamaica as Tropical Storm Grace continues on a path away from the island.
The met service says on the forecast track, the centre of Grace will move near or over the Cayman Islands later this morning and then approach the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico tonight or early Thursday.
The large area of showers and thunderstorms associated with Tropical Storm Grace is now moving away from Jamaica and tropical storm conditions are no longer being experienced on the island.
Sea conditions are also gradually returning to near normal as the system continues westward.
