Trey Songz is in hot water... again!
The R&B singer was arrested in New York City after an alleged altercation at a Manhattan nightclub on December 4.
Prosecutors say the "Can't Help But Wait" crooner punched an employee after becoming upset when told the club was closing.
Songz also faces a criminal mischief charge linked to a separate incident the same morning, where he allegedly caused about US$1,500 in damage at a restaurant and hookah lounge.
Trey appeared in court yesterday (December 14), and was released, with his next court date set for February 18.
His attorney claims he was provoked and is cooperating with authorities.
The arrest adds to a series of recent legal issues for the singer, including prior assault allegations and settled lawsuits.
