A representative for Trey Songz has denied the rape allegations levied against the singer.
According to TMZ, a rep for Trey Songz said, “Trey and his team are confident in the legal process and that there will be an abundance of exonerating information to come over the next few weeks”.
Former University of Las Vegas women’s basketball player Dylan Gonzalez has accused the R&B singer of raping her at a Las Vegas hotel several years back. In a lengthy Instagram post which was posted yesterday, Gonzalez wrote, “With what seems like endlessly reoccurring news of the alleged sexual assaults committed by Trey Songz, I am forced to repeatedly relive in my mind, and suffer anew, the long-suppressed horror and unbearable PTSD of my rape by his very hands at a well known Las Vegas Hotel”.
Gonzalez first dropped the bomb back in December when she tweeted, “Trey Songz is a rapist. Lord forgive me I couldn’t hold that in another year. See you in 2022”.
Songz is also being investigated over a separate alleged sexual assault incident at the Cosmopolitan hotel in Las Vegas following his 37th birthday in November, he was also previously sued for $10 million for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman in a Miami nightclub.
