All the leading female sprinters have progressed to the semi finals of the 100 meters at the National Senior Championships.
Reigning Double Olympic Champion Elaine Thompson Herah, Shelly Ann Fraser Pryce, Shericka Jackson and Briana Williams all won their respective heats.
On the Men’s side Yohan Blake led the qualifiers with a time of 10.03 in his heat.
Elsewhere, two-time World U20 champion Jaheel Hyde ran a season’s best 49.14 seconds to lead the qualifiers in the men’s 400m hurdles.
