Toni Ann Singh Keeps the Crown for Another Year

Miss World 2019 Toni Ann Singh will reign for another year.

This is due to the current pandemic of the Corona Virus, which caused the cancellation of the 2020 staging of the pageant.

Reports are that based on the pandemic it’s hard to host a competition this year as it would be almost impossible for sponsors to come on board. The next Miss World finals will be held in 2021 and the host, country, and venue will be announced very soon.

Singh, hailing from the parish of St. Thomas won the competition with France in the second position and Miss India holding the third spot.

She became the fourth Jamaican to win the Miss World title when she was crowned at the Excel Arena in London last December.
