There’s a High Pressure Ridge across Jamaica.

The Met Office says this High Pressure Ridge is projected to remain across the island through to Wednesday evening.

A Trough is then expected to move into the vicinity of Jamaica by early Thursday morning.

This morning will be partly cloudy.

This afternoon expect widely scattered showers and thunderstorms across sections of western and north-central parishes. It will also be windy mainly along southern coastal areas.

Tonight will be partly cloudy.

A Small Craft Warning remains in effect for inshore and offshore areas of the south coast, due to strong winds and rough seas in the vicinity of showers and thunderstorms.

Maximum temperature expected for Kingston and Montego Bay today is 33 degrees Celsius.
