The Met Office says this High Pressure Ridge should remain across the island throughout today.

A Trough is then expected to move into the area and linger through to early next week.

This morning will be mostly sunny and windy across southern parishes.

This afternoon expect partly cloudy conditions across western and hilly inland areas.

Tonight will become partly cloudy.

A Small Craft Warning is in effect for inshore and offshore areas of the south coast due to strong winds and rough seas.

Maximum temperature expected for Kingston today is 31 degrees Celsius, Montego Bay 32 degrees Celsius.
