TikTok star Khaby Lame, made famous for his pandemic-era silent conten, sold his company, Step Distinctive Limited, for a deal valued at $975 millionUSD. The deal will see him authorizing the development of an AI-powered "digital twin."
The partial acquisition and strategic partnership deal with the company Rich Sparkle Holdings was announced last week allowing Rich Sparkle to hold exclusive rights to Lame's, who has an estimated 360 million followers across various social media platforms, commercial activities for at least 36 months.
The content creator's upcoming AI-powered digital twin will be a virtual replica of him. Rich Sparkle will copy his facial features, voice patterns, and behavior, allowing the company to create multilingual content, or even virtual livestreams with the streamer's digital doppelganger.
