Tiger Woods Eyes Masters Return After Year-Long Break, Competes in TGL Finale

Tiger Woods says he is “trying to play” in next month’s Masters after returning to competitive action for the first time in over a year in the TGL season finale.

The 50-year-old, sidelined since an October back surgery, played for his Jupiter Links team, which lost 9-2 to Los Angeles Golf Club.

Woods looked physically strong, hitting drives over 300 yards, but said his Masters participation will depend on how his body recovers.

He added that despite past injuries, he remains eager to play at Augusta National, a tournament he has won five times.
