English singer Olivia Dean has criticized Ticketmaster, Live Nation, and AEG Presents over inflated resale prices for her 2026 North American tour.
Her “The Art of Loving Tour” tickets sold out within minutes on November 21, with some resale prices reaching thousands of dollars. Dean called out the companies on social media, emphasizing that live music should be affordable and accessible.
In response, Ticketmaster has capped all future resale prices for the tour and will refund fans who overpaid on its platform. The company has implemented its Face Value Exchange, allowing tickets to be resold at their original price with no added fees. Refunds are expected to be processed by December 10, though posting times may vary depending on banks.
Demand for Dean’s tour was so high that three additional nights were added at Madison Square Garden.
The 'Man I Need" singer previously supported Sabrina Carpenter on the U.S. leg of the Short n’ Sweet Tour and announced her own North American headlining tour earlier in November.
Dean, who recently made her Saturday Night Live debut and performed in Australia at the 2025 ARIA Awards, has seen her popularity surge. Her single “Man I Need” reached No. 1 on the ARIA Chart and is currently at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Her 2026 tour will begin in the U.K. and Europe.
$1 from every ticket sold for the North American tour will be donated to support Jamaican communities affected by Hurricane Melissa.
