The music fraternity has been plunged into mourning once again.
This following the announcement of the death of Sly Dunbar.
Sly was a Jamaican drummer, best known as one half of the prolific Jamaican rhythm section and reggae production duo Sly and Robbie.Robbie who was a bassist, passed away in 2021.

Beyond the accolades and hit records, Sly was a trailblazer who opened doors for generations of musicians.
Sly Dunbar is a 13-time Grammy nominee with two wins: the 1985 Best Reggae Recording for Black Uhuru’s Anthem and the 1999 Best Reggae Album for Sly & Robbie’s Friends.
