Dancehall artiste Govana, and music and creative production label The Now or Never Club (TNOC) have released The Bobby Lane Project: Season 1, a cinematic short film and juggling compilation that pushes dancehall beyond mthe traditional format and into narrative filmmaking.
Executive produced under the Now or Never label by founder Rogen “Ruppi” Walker, the project marks the first time Govana formally approached TNOC to executive produce a juggling riddim together, building on years of creative partnership.
“Ruppi” tells the Zee how the project came about.
With season 1 getting favourable reviews, Ruupi remain tightlipped about the release date for Season 2.
