In a recent episode of Steven Bartlett’s podcast, The Diary Of A CEO, actor Terry Crews revealed that his former addiction to porn almost ended his marriage.
Crews expressed that he had been suffering from trauma since his childhood years, having grown up in an abusive household. And while others would turn to alcohol or drugs to heal, his choice was to watch pornographic tapes.
The 53-year-old said, “Pornography numbed my pain. I’ve never been drunk or high but porn was something that took me out, I first discovered it at about nine or ten years old, I was at my uncle’s house and he had a chest full of it”.
Even as an adult, Crews admitted to watching sexually explicit content up to 12 hours a day, and it was not until 2010 when he was able to get a hold of the situation and save his relationship with his wife
