In a sit-down interview with social media personality Jae Edwards, dancehall artiste Teejay admitted that Jamaican artiste manager Romeich Major played a significant role in his career development.
During the interview on “Airtime with Jae,” the host asked Teejay about the year he rose to prominence, hinting that it coincided with his association with Romeich. Teejay clarified, saying, “A Romeich buss Teejay.”
The “Drift” singer explained that, whether people acknowledge it or not, Romeich was instrumental in his growth due to the manager’s structure and promotional strategies.
Teejay also mentioned that Romeich had a solid camp, but the relationship started to shift when COVID-19 hit, leading to the eventual drift between them.
