Paris 2024 athletics Olympic champions Letsile Tebogo of Botswana and Julien Alfred of Saint Lucia took home the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) award for best male and female athletes of Paris 2024.
The ceremony was held Wednesday in Cascais, Portugal.
Two months ago, Tebogo, in the 200m, and Alfred, in the 100m, stormed to historic gold medals in the French capital.
Each victory represented the first in Olympic history for their respective nations.
