Teachers around the country are being encouraged to remain steadfast in the face of antisocial behavior and other forms of maladjustment demonstrated by some students.
Hon. Fayval Williams, Minister of Education and Youth, made the call in a statement on June 9 in which she showed her support for teachers.
She described how disheartening it is to see videos on social media showing students behaving in ways that are entirely at odds with what they are being taught in the classroom.
Parents are being urged to provide their children more monitoring at this time and to take advantage of the services of several government agencies that assist children and parents in need.
