Bishop T.D. Jakes is on the mend after experiencing a health scare during Sunday service at the Potter's House in Dallas, Texas, on November 24.
According to reports, Bishop Jakes began shaking during his sermon and experienced a ‘minor health incident’. He paused his sermon, set down his microphone, and let a rag fall from his hands.
A dozen or more members of the church rushed to his rescue, and he was given medical attention right away.
Following news of the incident, social media and congregation members sent their prayers and well-wishes to Bishop Jakes. In a statement, Potter's House Church said they were grateful for the support.
Bishop Jakes’ daughter, Sarah Jakes-Roberts, and her husband also shared a video expressing their appreciation for the support and hope for his speedy recovery.
Bishop Jakes is said to be in stable condition and is already improving.
