Taylor Swift has broken yet another record with her new album “The Life of a Showgirl,” this time with lead single “The Fate of Ophelia,” which has surpassed Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers” for most streams in a single week on Spotify.
Cyrus previously broke the record in January 2024, racking up 101,838,799 streams in its opening seven-day period.
“Flowers” also became the first song to reach the 100 million point faster than any other song ever has on the platform.
The previous record-holder on Spotify was BTS’ “Butter,” which racked up 99.37 million streams in its first seven days before hitting the 100 million mark on its eighth day.
