SZA announced on Monday via social media that her long-awaited album "Lana" — a deluxe version of her Grammy-winning second album "SOS" — will drop this Friday.
The announcement includes a clip of actor Ben Stiller enthusiastically singing along to what appears to be the new single, "Drive," while driving through the rain at night.
With SZA gearing up for her upcoming stadium tour alongside Kendrick Lamar, the timing aligns perfectly for new material. She has been touring in support of "SOS" since its release two years ago.
The latest teasers started a week ago on the second anniversary of "SOS," when she shared a brief video trailer featuring a snippet of one of the album's tracks.
SZA has mentioned plans for a deluxe version of "SOS" since its debut. In a series of tweets, she explained that the deluxe edition will include “the leaks and outtakes,” while "Lana" will stand as a separate album.
