The rankings update, which reflects matches played up to November 26, comes on the heels of the Sunshine Girls' impressive 2-1 series victory over England in the recent Horizon Series.
Jamaica’s rise in the rankings was fueled by their stellar performance in the four-match series, where they outplayed an England side that was ranked second at the time.
The Sunshine Girls continue to solidify their status as one of the world’s elite netball teams, further building momentum ahead of upcoming international competitions.
