Travel experts say passengers should brace for a hike in airplane fares this summer due to the grounding of the Boeing 737 Max jets.

The Max jets were grounded after two deadly accidents.

US airlines will operate about 200 fewer daily flights than planned through the peak summer season.

That could also mean a nonstop flight may turn into a connecting flight or might arrive several hours later than the traveller expected.
