All grade six students who sat the Primary Exit Profile PEP, were placed in full secondary institutions.

Minister with responsibility for the education portfolio Karl Samuda, made the announcement at a press conference held the Ministry’s office in Kingston this morning (Fri).

He also noted that 80 percent of students who sat the exam, were placed in one of their preferred schools.

In regards to the distribution of the results to schools, Mr. Samuda stated that all primary level schools, once they have been registered online, will be able to access the results before noon today.

Those who have no online access can pick up their results by 2:00pm at the respective regional offices.

The compiled reports and PEP which replace the Grade Six Achievement Test GSAT, will not include percentage scores, instead, each student will receive a student summary report, which will indicate high school placement, scale scores and description of performance.
