STRING OF ACTIVITIES PLANNED FOR MISS WORLD TONI-ANN SINGH’S HOMECOMING

Miss World, Jamaica’s Toni-Ann Singh will be honoured in a string of activities planned for today and tomorrow to celebrate her homecoming.

She returned to the island last evening after winning the coveted Miss World title in London, England last Saturday.

Among today’s activities are a press conference at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel in New Kingston and a cultural tribute at Emancipation Park.

She is also expected to appear in St. Thomas at dancehall artiste Popcaan’s Unruly Fest tonight.

Tomorrow there will be a Miss World Motorcade and tour of St. Thomas, where Toni-Ann Singh will receive the key to the town of Morant Bay.

She will make stops in Yallahs, Bath and at the Women’s Center of Jamaica Foundation.

Ms. World will then return to Kingston, where a reception will be hosted by Prime Minister Andrew Holness.
