Podcaster Jaii Frais and music producer Jahvy Ambassador have been granted bail after appearing before the Gun Court earlier today.
The bail totalling $ 1.5 million each was granted under specific conditions: they must surrender their travel documents, report to the police three times a week, and observe a curfew from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm.
Additionally, both men were also cautioned against publicly discussing the case on any podcast.
Jaii Frais is represented by attorneys Isat Buchanan and D’ondre Buchanan and faces charges including shooting with intent, wounding with intent, possession of a prohibited weapon, and using a weapon to commit a felony.
Jahvy Ambassador is represented by defence attorney Peter Champagnie and has been charged with wounding with intent, using a firearm to commit a felony and assault occasioning bodily harm.
The charges follow an altercation that took place at an after-carnival party amongst the two men and members of dancehall artiste 450’s entourage, including Jahvy Ambassador, who is the deejay’s manager and producer.
Injured were Jaii Frais, a US native bystander and a member of 450's entourage.
