A man accused of fatally mowing down his father during a land dispute in St. Thomas is currently in police custody after surrendering on Tuesday in the company of his attorney.
He is to be questioned in connection with the death of 53-year-old O'Neil Ferrill, a farm worker from Port Morant.
At around 9:15AM on Monday, Ferrill and his son got into a heated argument over land. The dispute allegedly became physical.
It's alleged that Ferrill's son pursued him in a car and struck him from behind after he attempted to leave the scene.
Mr Ferrill died at the scene.
