Two St. James chefs, 39-year-old Sheldon Wright and 22-year-old Richardo Stevens, have been charged with multiple child pornography offences following a police operation in Irwin Heights, Montego Bay, on Thursday, October 16.
Reports are that around 3:30 p.m., police acting on information went to a house in the community where the men were found with two females, one of whom fled the scene.
All four were later interviewed, and investigators discovered that the girls were minors.
A search of the men’s cell phones reportedly uncovered nude photos and videos of the minors engaging in sexual activities.
Both men were informed of the breaches and subsequently charged with possession and production of child pornography, as well as knowingly inciting minors in its creation.
