A number of residents in St Catherine and St Thomas were tested for free over the weekend.
Testing was done from the mobile unit to residents of Eltham and Ensom in St Catherine and Yallahs in St Thomas respectively over the weekend.
The health ministry in a release said this is part of the ongoing efforts of the health departments, who continue to work with community leaders to reduce the spread of the virus in several areas, especially after the festive season.
The community intervention also included screening for Dengue Fever.
