Two individuals who allegedly scammed motorists at yesterday’s St. Catherine Traffic Ticket Day event were arrested by police.
Head of the St. Catherine North Police, Senior Superintendent Hopton Nicholson, said the pair is likely to be charged with larceny by trick.
SSP Nicholson warned motorists to conduct traffic ticket transactions only with legitimate court officials.
The warning follows reports that the suspects took advantage of motorists who tried to bypass the official procedures at the event.
