Spice was moved to tears on Tuesday, August 20, at her annual back to school treat.
The Queen of Dancehall has apologized profusely for the chaos that took place during her Back-to-school treat, acknowledging that she had underestimated the turnout would have been so massive.
Spice was in for a surprise on Tuesday at the Marverly Gospel Hall in Kingston, as scores pf people turned out, looked like about in the high hundreds, which she then realized was “oversubscribed.” There was an overwhelming crowd crammed into the space resulting in the artiste not being able to get the children to form lines, as she said she would have expected.
She made the apology in a lengthy post on her Instagram after the event.
She was consoled by other artistes such as Shaggy, Cecile, Konshens, Razor B, among others, who praised and congratulated her for the initiative and efforts to give back.
Spice has since released a list of names on her Instagram who had submitted their names and book list to visit the Gordon Memorial Prep School on Thursday, August 22, but only if your name is on the list.
Meanwhile, others are also gearing up for back to school treats. Popcaan, Konshens, and Pamputtae are three other Dancehall artistes who are slated to host back to school treats in the coming days.
