Dancehall artiste, Spice, through her Grace Hamilton Women Empowerment Foundation, teamed up with MYO Global Foundation to donate school supplies and personal essentials to students at several schools in Accra, Ghana.
During an interview at one of the schools she was supporting, the “Cool It” singer said “I just want to remind people who look like me that it’s possible to dream big and aim high. Coming to Ghana, I felt compelled to give back to the children. Every year, I find a place to give back to kids.”
Spice has been in Ghana for over two weeks. During her stay, she met with local Dancehall artist Stoney Boy, with whom she has a new music collaboration.
In a post uploaded to her Instagram this morning, the “Go Down Deh” singer stated “Besties if you see this and want to Join my foundation @gracehamilton_wef in our next movement please reach out and let’s do our part in giving back. Ghana 🇬🇭 you have a place in my heart. Jamaica 🇯🇲 I’ll see you “Again” Very soon.”
Based on her Instagram posts, Spice has also been exploring Ghanaian cuisine and participating in cultural activities.
