Rapper Soulja Boy, whose real name is DeAndre Cortez Way, could lose future royalty income as his former assistant and ex-girlfriend moves to collect a $4.25 million court judgment against him.
The woman, identified in court records as Jane Doe, has reportedly filed notice of her intent to sell his BMI royalty rights to the highest bidder if the debt remains unpaid.
A jury found Soulja Boy liable in April 2025 for sexual battery, assault, sexual harassment, emotional distress and unpaid wages.
The rapper has denied wrongdoing, maintains his innocence and is appealing the judgment.
