It seems that American singer Chris Brown was right about the past event between him and Barbadian singer Rihanna haunting him for the rest of his life.

In a 2017 interview with TheGuardian.com, Chris addressed the viral photograph of Rihanna’s bruised face saying: “I look back at that picture and I’m just like: that’s not me. I hate it to this day – that’s going to haunt me forever.”

Well, he was right.

Chris released his latest album ‘Indigo’ on Friday and some Twitter users were excited about it, while others…..not so much.

Some fans were impressed with Chris’ latest work and made tweets like:

“Thank God for Chris brown Album ??”

“Chris brown 32 song album ‘indigo’ is amazing!”

“Good Morning to Chris Brown and Chris Brown only!”

On the other hand, some users were not supportive of Chris’s album, bringing back up the fight between him and Rihanna.

“Chris Brown is trending. Time to post this picture of Rhianna’s face after he physically abused her”

“Be right back, just blocking Chris brown supporters”

In February 2009, Chris Brown and Rihanna had a serious fight which left the female singer bruised and bleeding. Chris was arrested following the incident, and was sentenced to community service and domestic violence counselling, plus a restraining order. In a film documentary, ‘Chris Brown: Welcome to My Life’, he went into detail about the abusive relationship, saying he “felt like a monster”.

The album ‘Indigo’ is Chris Brown’s ninth studio album by American record label owned by Sony Music, RCA Records.
