Snoop Dogg Honors His Late Mother with Soulful New Gospel Album Altar Call

Share

Snoop Dogg is tapping back into his spiritual side with a brand new gospel album called “Altar Call”, a personal tribute to his late mother, Beverly Tate.
The project is set to drop via Death Row Records on April 27, which would’ve been her birthday.

The 21-track album follows his 2018 gospel debut, Bible of Love, and takes things even deeper, drawing on the lessons, love, and legacy his mother left behind.

Altar Call rounds up an all-star lineup, including Jamie Foxx, who lends his voice to a soulful cover of Bill Withers’ “Grandma’s Hands.” The album also features Charlie Bereal, Jane Handcock, Jazze Pha, October London, Mali Music, Robert Glasper, and the Death Row Mass Choir — making it a true celebration of faith, family, and Snoop’s signature style.
