Ska music is expected to be featured in a few UK based television series, later this year.
The musical genre is expected to have heavy influence in a six-part series titled “This Town” which features Bob Marley: One Love star, Kingsley Ben-Adir.
The series was created by British screenwriter and film producer Steven Knight. He also produced the critically acclaimed series, Peaky Blinders.
According to GQ magazine, the series is set to be an “80’s family saga, set against the backdrop of the burgeoning ska scene”.
