The deceased are 4 males and 1 female, all from St. Catherine, ranging in age from 35 to 93 years.
Meanwhile, 73 new cases have been recorded.
They are 42 females and 31 males, ranging in age from one month to 87 years.
The positivity rate is 14.2 percent.
96 people are hospitalised with the virus, while there have been 87 more recoveries.
