Hurricane Melissa’s impact on Jamaica is now at the heart of a major international tour announcement, from rising global star Olivia Dean.
The “Man I Need” singer has revealed that US$1 from every ticket sold for her upcoming 'Art of Loving' North American arena tour, will go directly toward helping Jamaican communities rebuild after the storm.
Dean, who recently wrapped a stint opening for Sabrina Carpenter on the final leg of the Short n’ Sweet Tour, is stepping into a new level of fame with her first headlining arena run.
The tour kicks off July 10 in San Francisco and will take her to major cities such as Los Angeles, Toronto, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Boston, Houston, and New York City’s Madison Square Garden, before closing in Austin on August 28.
The announcement comes as Olivia Dean enjoys a major breakthrough in the U.S. Over the past few months, she has gained massive crossover attention, earning four spots on the Billboard Hot 100, including the top-five hit “Man I Need.”
Her album The Art of Loving also sits comfortably inside the Billboard 200’s top 10.
