It's Gaza boss Vybz Kartel's birthday, and through all of the celebratory words shared across music and culture, fiancée Sidem Ozturk shares a sweet message to her soon-to-be husband.
The couple met over ten years ago through letters when Sidem started writing to Vybz Kartel, real name Adidjah Palmer, as a fan. Ozturk referenced their long-term relationship in her birthday message to her beau, which began with the words, "Happy Birthday, Addi, my best friend, partner in life. Ten years with you has shown me who you are at your core: your strength, your heart, and the way you show up for the people you love."
Sidem's message goes on to describe the day Kartel was released as the happiest day of her life, not just because he was free, but because "the man I believe in was back where he belongs."
The couple got officially engaged late 2024 after being engaged for years prior during the incarceration of Vybz Kartel. No date has been announced so far for the couple's marriage.
