Without a doubt many Jamaican entertainers admire the work of Vybz Kartel, Shenseea included.
Last weekend, while performing at the latest edition of Rolling Loud in New York City, ‘Blessed’ singer paid homage to the incarcerated deejay.
A viral video of the performance on social media showed Shenseea bigging up the different Caribbean nationals, encouraging them to make noise for the island that they represented. She then went into her set, paying tribute to Kartel with his hit track ‘Fever’ with the entire venue singing along word for word.
Shenseea has always shared how much she admires the deejay. She has worked with him on tracks such as Loodi and Secret.
