Shelly-and Fraser-Pryce became World Champion over 100 meters for the first time in a World Championships record of 10,67.

Fraser-Pryce led a Jamaican 1-2-3, as she was followed to the line by Sherika Jackson and Double Olympic Champion Elaine Thompson-Herah, who copped silver and bronze, respectively.

Earlier, Olympic Champion Hansle Parchment will not compete in the men’s 110 meter hurdles.

This after injuring himself during warm up ahead of the tonight’s final.

Parchment was the lone Jamaican in through to the final.
