Actor Richard Roundtree, well-known for his role in the “Shaft” series, has passed after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
The 81-year-old actor starred in over 100 movies and TV shows.
According to NBC News, Roundtree was also a breast cancer survivor after being diagnosed in 1993. He became an advocate for greater breast cancer awareness among men.
Fellow actors such as Samuel L. Jackson, Gabriel Union, Sheryl Lee Ralph, and Viola Davis paid tribute on their social media accounts to the late actor.
